We know that our success on the road and in the shop is driven by the incredible people behind the wheel and under the hood. This September, we’re taking time to shine a spotlight on two groups who keep freight moving and equipment running: our professional drivers and our talented technicians.

Appreciating Our Drivers

Every mile delivered safely and on time is a testament to the dedication of our drivers. They navigate long hours, busy highways, changing weather, and shifting schedules—all while representing Ascend with professionalism. Beyond delivering freight, our drivers deliver reliability, trust, and service to our customers every single day.

Their work is not easy, but it is vital. They are often away from family, working tirelessly to keep America supplied and stocked. That’s why National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, celebrated in September, is so meaningful. And right after Driver Appreciation Week comes National Technician Appreciation Week. This week gives well-deserved recognition to the people whose expertise keeps fleets one of the best in the industry. We know that without our techs, our drivers couldn’t do what they do best—and that’s a partnership worth celebrating.
